Tania K. RobinsonEcclesiastes 3:1 – For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven…

Results have not been made official by the Secretary of State, but as more votes are coming in and absentee ballots are counted, it looks like we have fallen short of the runoff election. While this is disappointing and I truly have the desire to bring new leadership to Senate District 38, it is not to be in this cycle. I am truly grateful to the voters, supporters, neighbors and friends who pushed me to #2 in this 4 person race. Your voice is clear that we are seeing a sea change in our community we just have to keep fighting and moving forward. I vow to continue to remain active in our community and holding our elected public servants accountable. I encourage each of you to pick a campaign(s) (specifically at the local level) that you are passionate about and help get them elected either during the runoff and during the November election. I personally want to focus on our local school board positions and other elected positions in our community. For my SD 38 neighbors and friends…please hold our State Senator accountable in the next session. She qualified and asked to serve again and needs to work. We deserve involvement, we deserve updates, and we deserve responsiveness!

Until next time…stay safe, be vigilant and God bless!
