Tania is the Democratic Candidate for State Senate District 38 which includes Mableton, portions of Austell and Smyrna in Cobb County and portions of South and Mid Fulton County. Tania currently serves as a Democratic Party of GA Committee member, VP of Membership for the Cobb Democratic Women and a post seat holder for the Cobb Democratic Party. She is also is on the GA WIN (Women Winning in Numbers) 2019-2020 class and has recently completed and is now and alumni of the Congressional Black Caucus Institute Atlanta training.
Tania K. Robinson is a Financial Planner with Prudential in the metro Atlanta. Her goal is to provide business owners and families with assistance in building their financial freedom. Her personal goal is to become a lifetime resource for each client. Tania has been in the financial services industry for over 15 years holding her series 7, 63 and 66 Securities licenses as well as her life, health and variable life licenses. She also received the Financial Services Certification Professional Designation (FSCP) from the American College of Financial Services in Bryn Mawr, PA.
Tania is a graduate of Syracuse University where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Information, Management and Technology and became a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. through the Kappa Lambda chapter on April 18, 1999. Since graduation, Tania has been a member of the Marietta-Roswell Alumnae chapter and is a Diamond Life member, where she has served as a Past Chair of Internal Audit and Financial Assistant. She is currently a member of the Scholarship, Political Awareness/Social Action and Economic Development committees where she conducts a monthly financial education series for the community. She also has the honor of being the 2017-2018 MRAC Delta of the Year.
Tania is active in her community as a parishioner at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Marietta, a member of the Atlanta chapter of Women in Insurance and Financial Services, the Atlanta Alumni Club of Syracuse University, member of the South Cobb and Austell Business Association and served as an assistant manager at an election polling location in her community. As of January 2020, she has been selected to serve on the boards of the Center for Family Resources and New Power Education. In addition, Tania had the honor to serve as a delegate to the 2012 Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, NC for GA’s 11th Congressional District. She is an Army Veteran widow, residing in Mableton, GA with her daughter Nia.
